Category A is only open to the public. Meanwhile, Category B is open to all Communication and Media students in Malaysia and Asia.

The theme for this competition is #Connect.

Participants can take a picture of anything that represents the word "Connect" for them.

Each participant must send 1 picture along with an essay that does not excess 200 words. You are required to provide a unique title that is relevant to the theme.

Category A participants must use a DSLR camera. Meanwhile, Category B participants may use a smartphone camera.

The entry free for Category A is RM60 or USD 20. Meanwhile, the vategory B fee is RM10 or USD 10.

All pictures taken must be original pictures and not plagiarised pictures for other parties. 

Abstain from using any disloyal means to achieve photographs.

Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and not more than 2000 pixels on the longer side. The file must be in a PDF format.

Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the photo(s).

Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.

Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, and cultural elements are strictly prohibited.

The scoring for this competition is entirely based on the judges.

By submitting the picture, you provide full consent and autority to use your picture for promotional/ posting purposes.

Each participants should submit one photo and essay per entry.
